About Us

China Children’s Environmental Health Platform (https://cehi.niehs.cn/) is a joint initiative of the National Disease Control and Prevention Administration (NDCPA) and UNICEF, implemented by National Institute of Environmental Health (NIEH) of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

Our Goals

1)To promote knowledge on children’s environmental health among the general public.

2)To provide professional reference materials for researchers and practitioners in the field of environmental health.

3)To equip primary health workers with tools and guidance for assessing and intervening children’s environmental health risks, including online training courses.

Key Components

1)Public Education & Awareness: Through the “For Public” Module, you can learn about common environmental risk factors that may pose potential risk to children’s health; children’s particular vulnerability to the environment, and ways to protect children from environmental impacts.
